What is the legacy of colonization? How can we better understand, and teach others about, other cultures in order to move forward together and heal the wounds of the past?

Our Answers

The legacy of colonization has affected almost every nation. It can help developing nations grow, flourish and industrialize; but it can also leave a legacy of oppression.  We can better understand other nations' cultures by listening to new ideas and different viewpoints.  These new perspectives can enrich our own culture and help us understand the past- Kaylin Stewart
